Bruce Hornsby at the Zoo
July 2nd was another beautiful night at the Minnesota Zoo, thank you Sue McLean & Associates for bringing this living legion back in town. So…. who among you has a Steinway Model B signature Bruce Hornsby piano in your living room or studio, I’d like to hear from you. That limited addition keep sake is nothing to spill coffee on & as they say no two Steinways sound the same.
Bruce is still the versatile man on stage – he brings a lot more hardware to these shows then the good old days touring with the Greatful Dead.
This evening Bruce’s song writing & songs makes me think he is more blue grass than jazz, he ditched the ivories & did an un-plugged set with guitar, organ & washboard and yes… he loves that dulcimer. A hot evening with another music legion, “that’s just the way it is, some things will never change”.
