2017’s Music on the Wall started with a great party on July 14th. Bad Weather brewery in St. Paul has an event space where we filled a few walls. Some new prints were added since opening night so be sure to check it out. The art/photography show ends Sunday August 13th. This is the 1st year, I want to thank all the artists & music photographers who submitted prints & paintings. Images of musicians are usually seen on band web sites, print pieces & photography web sites. Its nice to get up close & personal to an 11 x 14 print where the eye can capture the real detail. Contrast, color & composition feel different here than from viewing images on the web. Older artists, merging artists, country, rock, soul, hip hop & local musicians will bring memories & good discussion over a well crafted micro brew.
Prints range in size, original art & prints from Taylor Hillestad, Kristi Abbott & John Grancorvitz. Concert photography is some of the best you will see – some highlights are: Devious Photography, Concert Communicator, TWINCities Media, Christopher Ludtke, Andrew Stafford, Tommy Smith & Ralph DePalmafrom Key West.
Bad Weather Brewery is located in St. Paul http://www.badweatherbrewery.com/ These guys make some of the best craft beer in Minnesota. Music on the Wall is a perfect back drop to a cold, well crafted IPA. Please support this great operation so we can do this again next summer.
I’ll return all prints end of August with the address you provide.
If you are local we can make easy arrangements for getting prints back to you. Music on the Wall images are for sale, artist contact info is at the show next to their work. Contact me for additional details at 612-669-1278 or e-mail on my contact form or: [email protected]

I’ve worked in healthcare media production for over 20 years. My images of patients & providers is a window to their world often captured at a vulnerable time. As a senior producer, I’ve experienced the insane, delightful but always educational challenges in creating images and stories.
